The Appomattox Court House National Historical Park ruins are part of the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966.
We enjoyed our visit to the restored Appomattox Courthouse area. The buildings have been carefully restored and the attention to detail is superb. We also enjoyed the surrounding area points of interest that detailed the events to those critical days near the end of the Civil War.
