Belly of the Dragon

Cool little stop. Wasn’t what I expected. Just a tunnel dug under the highway between Kanab and Zion.

Totally worth the stop! Parking really close to the entrance. Super fun and great photos!

Definitely worth a stop. Short hike through a tunnel beneath the highway. Perfect way to get out of the car and stretch your legs. If you're lucky enough to hit this without company you can get some great shots. We didn't have flashlights but had some red nightsky lights that produced some interesting pictures.

The Belly of the Dragon is a hidden gem! It’s a very short hike, though it can be a bit treacherous, especially if there have been recent rains. The drop into the mouth of the tunnel is a bit steep on one end, though the other side is relatively flat. Bring a flashlight, and beware of possible flash flooding, but enjoy the adventure.

Super cool short stop if you don't want to do the 4 mile hike to the slot canyon.
