Nice campground, easy to get to. 2 miles of rumbly washboard gravel road, and 2 big dips, but we made it with our 26 ft RV. $5/night. ATT cell service, no verizon service. No water. There is a trash dumpster at the entrance near the main road, but none in the campground. Wide open spaces, sites are spread apart but it's all open. Red ants everywhere, watch your poor dogs. Very quiet at night.

Have stayed here 3 different times. Used this as our pickup spot for the shuttle to Wire Pass (entrance to hike the Buckskin). Easy, plenty of parking and have always been able to grab a campsite. It's very clean, has a restroom area and is easy to get to. Located between the cities of Kanab UT and Page AZ. Our ATT phone service at least worked (a little bit) good enough.

Washboard road towards the trailhead for Paria Canyon, there’s parking for hiking and then right past it is a small campground. Each spot has a picnic table and fire ring. There are pit toilets here. The fee is $5/night which you are supposed to put in the lockbox at the entrance. Our cell service was not great, okay with the signal booster but spotty.

This site is meant for tent camping, and the spots are spread out a decent distance from each other between the bushes on a slight hill, with a table and grill at each. We were the only ones there and it was too cold for a tent, so we used the spot closest to the parking lot to cook up dinner and stayed in our van. It would make a fantastic place to tent camp in warmer weather, on nice cushy sand and nestled between the rocks. And it's only $5!
From the highway, it’s a 2 mile drive down a dirt road. A little bumpy in a few spots, but overall well maintained, and nothing our Sprinter couldn’t handle. Around a giant rock formation is where the campsites sit, feeling secluded, quiet, and out of sight. The surrounding rocks make for some interesting exploring and the night was quiet and star filled. The only other visitors during our time there were a few people coming up to use the trail, which starts off from the parking lot. There were two well maintained vault toilets, and no water or trash, but there is a large bin on the way out by the Contact Station.
Directions: Head 42 miles E from Kanab on HWY 89, turn right at the road by the Paria Contact Station (not the Paria Outpost/Ranch right before it where we accidentally turned first) then follow signs to White House Trailhead. Pay station is located at the campsite.
We did not have any cell reception.

Easy to find, there was a sign for the turnoff if you are driving from Page, and the road is on Google Maps. The dirt road had only one moderate dip that was a little muddy. I was there on a Thursday in early May, arrived about 7:30pm and all of the 5 drive up sites were full, but there was another site you could walk about 100 ft. on the trail to get to, so we used that. It also had a fire ring/grill and table, and even though a minor pain to carry our camping stuff it was a little more secluded than the other sites so worth it.

We drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 21 ft travel trailer (23 ft hitch to bumper). On the road in we dragged the bumper in a dip in the road. If it were any longer we would have beached the trailer. It was very tight. Smaller trailers would have no problem but I would caution anyone towing something larger.
Beautiful site though. Cliffs all around. Potable water is available just off the main highway. Nice picnic tables and fire pits.
Great access to the national monument. I highly recommend Lower Hackberry Canyon Trail. It's a barefoot walk in a slot canyon that you can do barefoot. One of my favourite hikes.

There is a ranger station here where you can get information on BLM camping. The actual campground is 2 miles off the road and well marked. I was told by the ranger that the max trailer length for the campground is 18 feet.
Instead I was directed to a large gravel area accessed by a dirt road on your right on the way in, immediately after the cattle grate. Go down 1/4 mile. While it is still close to the road, the road goes into a depression at that point so the noise is minimized.
Great spot for an overnight. Two other TTs here. Room for several more.

Absolutely magical place to say. 5 primitive sites. Bring water for the night. Well water at the visitor center was funky, and the river sand destroys water filters.
White House Campground is located in south Central Utah in Paria Canyon. The campground offers a base camp for hiking in the deepest and longest slot canyon in the U.S. if not the world. It also is within a few hours of the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park, as well as many other spectacular desert areas.
