(1.2 mile / 1.9 km round-trip). Trailhead is across the highway from the Zion Lodge. This is an easy paved trail that leads to the lower pool, just below the middle pools.

The pools weren't emerald when we went to see them, but we hiked to lower & middle pools. The lower pool was an epic water fall but be careful & use the railings to avoid slipping. The lower pool would be a good one for kids.
The middle pool is set above the waterfall. The view is great, but would not recommend for young kids, slippery, steep & narrow footing.
