We were just there for the weekend, so it was fine. But didn’t like the fire ring being right up on the road and so close to the neighbors truck. The close proximity made it pretty noisy - it wasn’t even anyone being out of hand - we could just hear every door opening and closing because we were so close together.

Internal roads are tight and sites are tight. Our hook ups were in the middle of the site beside us. The dog park was not maintained our whole visit. Pool was closed due to covid, but looked in disrepair anyway. Lots of grass areas but a ton of flies. Just seems like they are coasting until the end of the season. They charge extra for more then 4 people at a site. It is about an hour away from Chicago.

Great all around campground. Staff was AWESOME! We stayed here from 9/2/21 – 9/18/21. Clean restrooms, lots of activities for kids. Pool looked good (did not use it). We use this location as a home base as we visited family in the Chicagoland area. The only negative is the well water but other than that a great campground. We camped here in a 30’ Class C MH. Everything you need is within a short driving distance.

Nice KOA. Lots of grass, and depending on how you’re camping, trees too. Security gate to get on the property. We got a key card when we checked in. We were there Weds-Tuesday. Weekends are much busier than during the week. Looks like there are a lot of seasonal sites. The sites are very narrow and so are the roads but that’s typical of a KOA. Full hookups at our site. There was a silent auction and an ice cream social on Saturday. The park is conveniently located between Marengo and Huntley. We would stay again.

Clean campsite, friendly people.
The campground is very well maintained and everyone was simply wonderful. Highly recommended.
What a lovely campground! Stayed here in a tent. All amenities, squeaky clean, very thoughtfully set up. Quiet and respectful. Pretty area, too.
