“Start your morning in the Adirondacks here!”
In a town where cutting down trees is not just a hobby, but a way of life, locals need the right kinds of energy to get them through the day. Their breakfasts are town-famous, and for good reason: the buttered lumberjack-sized toast is crunchy where it should be, and soft where it ought to be. And the home fries are sumptuous without being greasy. But don't expect modern conveniences - for instance, coffee is served in 6oz mugs that require constant badgering of the wait staff to refill, and air conditioners that don't quite cool the place off enough on hot summer days. But this is apparently how the lumberjacks like it - so that's how it's gonna be. Priced and rationed for the locals, the Lumberjack Inn is a great value as long as you don't expect haut cuisine or anything resembling tofu.
