Pick up a map at the chamber of commerce and look at over 40 wall murals in this Route 66 town. Tour the town during the day to see the other wonderful murals located all over the city and at night to see those famous Route 66 Neon signs
This was a real disappointment. Not worth stopping for unless you need lunch or gas
Some really great murals all around town.
GPS took me nowhere. If you are with a RV, its a road to hell (dirt narrow road).
I grew up here and it isn't the most prosperous town but if you wanna have fun it's here just not on the list of things to do. The main attraction of the murals tends to be the story behind them and who did them.
Silly but fun stop. We took a lot of pictures a by the safari motel. The old ads are hysterical.
So glad we stopped to see this little town. Sad that it's so dilapidated, but we loved seeing the murals and neon signs.
This was a sad little town. I didn't notice any wall murals - I guess I was distracted by all the dilapidation. The nicest building in the whole town was the Department of Corrections.
