Max and Diana were wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and there's a 0.5 mile little trail to get you moving and into the fresh air. The kids really enjoyed it. Great stay!
Great KOA to stay at. We stayed 3 nights during our road trip, we were suppose to stay 2 nights but liked the area so much we stayed an extra night. Close to all attractions in Chattanooga (20-25 mnts) like the aquarium, look out mountain and others. Staff is friendly, the pool is big and deep (8.5 feet). Quiet location. We will stay here again, for sure!
In the foothills, very quiet. Very well stocked clubhouse, nice accommodating owners on-site.

This place is a very relaxing place to stay. It is back in the hills, with a mountain on every side. It is a beautiful location and very quiet. It is very clean and well maintained. The owners and staff are very helpful and polite. I would highly recommend staying here. It has a swimming pool, a couple of play areas for the kids, and things to do, but the best reason to go there is just to relax.

Nice campground, very clean and well-appointed. Easy to get to from the highway without hearing it. First time at a KOA, good experience. Our doggo enjoyed the CampK9 dog run/play area. Tight in some areas but you don’t feel on top of each other, and usually a tree between each spot. The higher ones (1-40) had more shade and tree coverage. No Cable but the WIFI was decent.

We were pleasantly surprised with how set back this KOA is from the Interstate. The campground overall is very shaded and they are doing some improvements. Spot 8 was across from the pool and office. It was very unlevel and since we were only there for a night, we did not level and boy did we regret that! They had some really funny signs throughout so make sure you do a loop so you can catch them all. There was a train off in the distance, but overall it did not bother us. They had good wifi and we were able to stream on it! This would be a good location to visit Chattanooga and be out in the mostly peace and quiet. We will stay here again if in the area.

Stayed here one night on my way to Indiana. Most of the roads and sites are gravel. There is some asphalt left but needs new asphalting. My site was a little too unlevel for me to get perfectly level (6.5" unlevel) so I just left it 2" off since it is only one night. Water pressure was a little low at 45 psi. Power was good at 121v and 123v. Sewer connection was good. Lots of trees here so take your time navigating to your site. Cell signal was okay Sprint FMCA MiFi 4.87Mbps down 3.87Mbps up, Verizon cell phone 14.4Mbps down 2.48 up. Campground Wifi 19Mbps up and down! I asked if it is easy to get to my site and was assured it is but it was a little tight and hilly for my 40 foot gas motorhome pulling my Malibu. And..... there is a good sized hill to get out (only one way to get out) and a sharp right turn at the bottom! Staff was nice and pleasant but not our cup of tea. Oh and there is a train horn once every 30 mins. PS When turning onto Mountain Shadows Drive there is a dip in the road, take your time.

We had a very nice peaceful stay in the mountains. We took the “back” roads to get to downtown Chattanooga and it took 25/30 minutes no issue. Site 15 fit our 41 foot class A with the tow car in front. This site had shade, patio and fire pit it was great. There did not appear to be many big rig spots and the drive up (and down) to the campground is interesting/challenging as you do climb and twist a bit. Hence the name Lookout Mountain. They have a nature trail that circles the camp that we hiked with our dogs along with an amazing dog park. For kids they have a new playground, bounce pad and clean pool. Some of the lower sites were not level and close together and seemed to be mainly for travel trailers. The upper section by the office was more level and offered shade trees.
Office staff was helpful and friendly.

Lovely site and lots to see in the area including Rock City.
Arrived after dark and our reservation was not shown on the board. The site we ended up at was not very level and was in a rough spot. Seems like an accommodating camp venue but felt a bit stark during the winter.
