“The legendary home of elegant dining”
The Mission Table features famous smoked whitefish dip, fish in a bag, morel crusted scallops and more. Mission Table sits peacefully along West Grand Traverse Bay amidst the majestic oaks and pines of The Old Mission Peninsula. A Michigan Wine Restaurant serving a selection of Michigan wines. This inn is said to be haunted by the original owner’s wife, Genevive Stickney. The sordid story is that Mr. Stickney had an affair with their nurse. When he died, he left all his money to the nurse, and only the house to Genevive, who eventually hanged herself from the elevator shaft in despair. Her apparition has been seen in mirrors and in photographs, and she has been known to turn lights on and off and cause paintings to fall off the walls.
