Maritime Heritage Alliance's mission is to Preserve, Interpret, and Share the Maritime History of the Great Lakes. MHA has four vessels on our private pier donated by TC Light and Power. Madeline, Welcome, Arcturos,and our vessel for charter - Champion. New for 2012! Private charters for those who wish to experience Champion’s legacy. Originally custom-built in 1968,, this gentleman’s Tall Ship takes up to six guests per charter. The authentic charm of this beautifully maintained, wooden vessel provides a classic sailing experience on deck, enhanced by Old World comfort in the cabin below. Complete with kerosene lanterns, wood stove and vintage styling, Champion offers an enchanting escape for those seeking an intimate adventure. Charters available by appointment only. Monday-Friday – Cruises offered after 4pm. Saturday/Sunday – Available 24 hours (three hour minimum per charter). Price - $500 for 2.5 hours. ($100 for each additional hour.) Parking Available at the dock. Experience the Sunset like never before, take the helm and hoist the sails…or sit back in the cockpit and relax.
