“A classic drive-in since 1948!”
Visit one of the 8 Wonders of Kansas Cuisine -- an award bestowed on this classic Topeka burger drive in by the Kansas Sampler Foundation in June 2009. Bobo's Drive In is a classic old drive-in that has been operating in Topeka, Kansas since 1948, and has been at this location on 10th Avenue since 1953. There is a small area with counter or table service, but half of their customers are served by the car-hops. The current owners, Richard and Tricia Marsh, bought Bobo's in 2007, but some of the staff have been there many years. The best items we have sampled are Bobo's cheeseburger and handmade onion rings. The French fries, Coney Island, chocolate malt, and pork tenderloin are also good.
Tried to stop at this place on our way thru town. Heads up... it’s not open on Sundays.
Pretty good burger and probably the cheapest eats you'll find! If you're driving through the area and need a meal, definitely stop by this joint.
I love their shakes! And their food is great!
I have to say not to damn impressed . Basic , as is Topeka . Really not something worthy of a road trip off shoot . Best thing about the place is its sign? Gave it a 3 because we are fast food fans and that's for sure what ya get as the dude waiting cars ran the entire time , Neat!
Average food and average service!
