Spectacle Lake Resort is in the wonderful, diverse recreation land of the Okanogan in North Central Washington, just 25 miles from the Canadian border. Exceptional fishing in one of the State's best Rainbow Trout lakes is just one of the activities our guests enjoy. Combined with other lakes in the area, the fishing opportunities are endless. Popular activities also include water skiing and tubing, swimming, wind surfing, wildlife watching, and just plain relaxing. Golfing is nearby too. We also have great deer, bear, cougar, grouse, and other bird hunting in the fall.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 28, 2017Area looks quite depressed. Camp is older with lots to do on the lake. We were here end of Aug. and the lake was very low. Resort and campground was not busy. Everything was well kept, but dated. Good distance between sites and well cared for grass at all sites. No cell coverage at all. $20/nite was with Passport Am.

We thought this place was great. Now, we enjoy camping when camping, if we want a Marriott, that’s where we will go. It is dated, but things are well kept, and actually very nice. Just more on the simple side. Each site had good power, water and sewer. The lake is low, but very nice and so many birds to watch. Much to see in the area. We enjoyed exploring!

First, my wife loved this park. She said it was like going to camp as a kid. It's a combination 1950s motel and RV park. Gravel access roads, park on sloping grass making for difficulty leveling. Your view of the lake is obscured by the motel. BTW, motel seems to have long term occupants. Bathroom okay but needs TLC. Shower room was worse, I wouldn't use it. Rec room consisted of some beaten up furniture and an old pool table. Laundry room was not available for use . Still it met our needs just fine and was very quiet and peaceful. It's also cheap if you have Passport America $21 It also had good wifi.

This lakeside resort is family friendly and clean with lots to do for the family and great for kids. The on-site cabins are also clean and quite close to the water. Aside from cabins, they can also accommodate RVs, tents and trailers, and has a boatramp on site for those looking to have fun in the water.
