We also provide entertainment for people and their business colleagues, as well as for our numerous corporate partners and sponsors. In April of 2002, the Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Club played their first game in their new ballpark, Fifth Third Field. The state-of-the-art 8,943 seat facility in the heart of downtown replaced Ned Skeldon Stadium, the home of the Hens since 1965. Fans have flocked to Fifth Third Field in the years since the park has opened.
WHAT A BLAST. A really nice, small, exciting ballpark right in the heart of the city. Tickets are almost always cheap and available, and the team is really good, too. There isn't a bad seat in the house!
Great fun night out. Easy parking. Not expensive and big beers! Mudhens lost but we got 1st row seats on the first base line and just really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great family night.
Minor League ball games are fun to watch. You get all the baseball experience without the hype and expense of a Majors game. Team quality is always an issue, as guys are cycling in and out when they are called up, but everyone is playing their best and its a terrific experience.
