“Do you know what semaphore is?”
Do you know what a semaphore is or what a callbox is used for? At the Toledo Police Museum both these items are on display for you to see and learn the history of. The Toledo Police Museum is located at 2201 Kenwood Boulevard in beautiful Ottawa Park. Visitors to the museum can follow a timeline of the history of the Toledo Police Department, view a collection of historical artifacs and participate in many interactive exhibits, which include a mock jail cell, a replica 1948 Ford wagon and having your mug shot photo taken from a 1920’s era booking camera. We welcome bus tours and special events. We will make every attempt to accommodate tours outside normal hours of operation, however the museum is manned through the dedication of volunteers.
Small but packed with interesting finds, friendly staff, a good place to learn about Toledo police history.
