I was in between stops on my route and didn’t have anything planned for the moment, so I decided to take a drive through the mountains. For a nice country drive, I was not disappointed. There’s a ton of winding mountain roads and some great overlooks. You have to be adventurous to find the good views, but it’s worth it. It was a good place to get lost. I went on a Thursday in September and the traffic was very light, but it looks like it might be a lot busier on the weekends and during peak season, judging by the amount of camping spots.
