Big Sycamore Canyon Trail

A relatively mild 8 mile hike or bike, especially going downhill north-to-south. Good for an afternoon family trip (if you arrange to be picked up at the other end) and you can watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Easy for school-age children (but know your child's ability level, as there's no shortcut out)
