Purple Fiddle

The Purple Fiddle Cafe, Brews and Stage is a family-friendly and non-smoking music venue and deli-style restaurant. We are located in the old DePollo General Store in historic Thomas, WV, in the beautiful Allegheny mountains. Every week, and always on Fridays and Saturdays, the Purple Fiddle presents professional, touring acts.  Our music lineup is diverse. We often play host to old-time, bluegrass and traditional bands, but also spread our wings with rock n' roll, jazz, funk, reggae, old-country, blues, Celtic, folk, and even Latin bands. We usually collect a cover charge at the door that goes to pay for the bands, most of which are full-time professionals, traveling and playing nationally. We encourage families to bring children to the shows no matter what their age. (Children under 12 are free!) We believe the warm crowd and amazing (mostly acoustic) music is a great experience for all. We are proud of the fact that our facility has always been a safe and supportive environment for all, with access for the handicapped as well.  In addition to the music, there are other things to occupy a person's time. We have books, games, and wireless internet access for those with laptops
