“over 100 large shade trees”
Our Good Sam Park Features over 100 large shade trees over our 30/50 amp black top pull thru sites. We have grassy shady tent sites ideal for camping, or you may want to stay in one of our log cabins. For fun and excitement, you will enjoy our game room, a children's playground, and other outdoor activities that are available. Or perhaps you will want to float the river on the inner tube trips we offer, and enjoy the scenery and fishing, or you may want to just relax and enjoy ice cream or a soda from our snack and gift shop. For your camping needs we have a general store and we also sell propane, we also have a laundry facility on site, and we take great pride in our clean and spacious restrooms. We offer it all here at Eagle RV Park.
Very nice campground. The people running the place are super nice! Lots of shade trees and birds and we were even visited by a deer! Everything kept nice and clean. Wonderful BBQ shared area. Fire pits are available but I'd hesitate to use them in some of the RV slots meant for smaller RV and hence a smaller footprint. Nice playground for the kids. Convenient to town and shopping and the hot springs and pools. It's a small town so don't expect much. But the pools and hot springs are well worth the trip. If you put the address into GPS it will take you to the wrong place on the other side of town so use google maps or the roadtrippers map to find it. Any longer than 3-4 days in town and you've seen and done everything tho unless you like to spend lots of time swimming in the nice and warm thermal pools :) which are super fun! Good RV and tent and cabin location to stay for a few days. Nice and quiet!
Great site, clean campground. Bathrooms did get a lot of bugs at night. Friendly family owned and operated. Beautiful area! Good price and amenities.
Pluses-people are super friendly and helpful. Fair amount of shade trees which is nice because we are here during a heat wave. Close to town.
Minuses- Lots are extremely small. We have RV’s right next to us on both sides, in front of us and behind us. Our bedroom slide hangs over neighbors picnic table! Thankfully we are in a pull through so we think it will be easy to exit but not sure!
Pictures show grass at each site. This is not what we see here. The spots are very small with a couple of grassy areas around the park if your dogs needs grass to do there business. Apparently no one previous to us picked up after there dog. Cigarette butts all over our spot and poop everywhere! With that being said. The people here are very nice and it did have all the amenities stated.
