Youngs Fishing Service Inc

Young’s Fishing Service, Inc. was co-founded in 1986 by Jack LaFond and Bill Young, who were partners in Young’s Sporting Goods located in The Dalles, Oregon. We started out guiding strictly on the Columbia River for Walleye, Sturgeon, Salmon and Steelhead in our smaller fiberglass boats, progressing into fishing the Deschutes River via Jet Boats. Having closed our sporting goods store in 1995, I decided that the fishing guide life would be my sole profession.Being “officially retired”, Bill continues to guide on a more limited basis, and enjoys being on the water and leading his clients and friends to fish.We have both made countless friends over the years and that’s really what keeps us going.
