“Motoring in Tellico Plains, TN”
This was once the main road believe it or not. Now it's a 4x4 acessible mountain pass through stunning terrain. There are many switchbacks, and a couple of small river crossings. Definitely worth the detour if you are in a 4x4.
Stunning and secluded road/trail. As beautiful as anything I've seen in this part of the country. Took about an hour to drive and emerged near Coker Creek. Came across some locals camping down by one of the creeks. They said they come every years and hardly ever see another soul on this road. Amazing considering how beautiful it is. Probably a good road to hike too. The switchbacks and crossings are HEAPS of fun in your 4x4 too :)
