This little family-owned cafe and seafood shop on the main Rt 17/360 through Tappahannock is the real thing. A well stocked selection of fresh seafoods including crab meat, shrimp, oysters - in the shell and shucked, scallops, many fish varieties - rockfish, flouder, catfish, tapila, are available in the seafood store. The cafe offers dinners - $11 to $19 - such as crab cakes, soft shell crabs, oysters, flounder, rib eyes with many side dishes. A wide selection of sandwiches featuring any of the seafoods mentioned range from $3 to $7. The cafe offers at least 6 homemade desserts like bread pudding and brownies. Friendly service, and very reasonable prices. Tuesday-Saturday: 11:00am-8:00pm; Sunday: 12noon-5:00pm; Closed Monday.
