“just try Ms. Frances bread-pudding & you'll be back for more”
The Red Hill Cottage and Cafe is located in the middle of Red Hill at the old home place of Ellie Mae and Festus Griffith. The old house was built sometime in the late 30's. We have renovated the house and added a new section as well. It is family operated by cafe owner Debra Griffith Roberson and Ms Frances Griffith along with Joe. The Red Hill Cottage features items such as the Primo ceramic grill and smoker. These grills are comparible to the Big Green Egg but they are made in the USA. Debra's husband Tony makes beautiful tile top tables for the Big green egg or the Primo grill/smoker and he also makes rustic furniture, unique birdhouses and other items. At the cafe, we serve home-style dishes using many of our family and friends' favorite recipes. We make fresh homemade biscuits and cornbread daily. Our mother, Ms. Frances, also makes home made banana pudding that is quickly becoming a local favorite. The delicious BBQ, smoked turkey, and other meats are cooked daily on the Big Green Egg grill.
