The Talkeetna Historical Society (THS) was founded in 1972 by residents concerned with protecting Talkeetna’s historical sites. THS is a non-profit organization which safeguards the uniqueness of this rural Alaskan community, Talkeetna, in the preservation of its historical past in its museum and its many other historical buildings and trails.
