“complete with a 19th-century general store!”

The moment you turn into the driveway and meander past the pond to the 18th Century building that serves as the store and registration area, you will feel the cares of the day just fall away. After you are taken to your site, you can take a stroll back to the General Store to see what treats will tempt you. There are the many varieties of fresh fudge (made right here) or a plethora of wonderful flavors of ice cream that will make your taste buds happy. Or you may decide to “wet a line or drown a worm” and catch some fish in one of our ponds (just be sure to return them to their “school”), take a dip in our NEW swimming pool, play some corn hole, ladder golf or chess in our new game area it is totally up to you. But if all that sounds like too much, you could always just sit around our group campfire to reconnect with old friends or make some new ones. We know that each of our guests have their own special reasons for coming to Streetsboro KOA, so we provide a place that has a variety of things to do but yet is peaceful and relaxing. We would love to have you stay with us. Be sure to make your reservations today.

Lovely and quiet in the tent section, despite being a little crowded the night we stayed there. Squeaky clean. And all the bathrooms are single-stall, so I felt much more at ease there as a trans person! Don't remember whether the showers were single-stall.

We really enjoyed our stay. Site 550 is on and end with a nice side yard and shade trees. The staff is pleasant and helpful. There’s a management presence to tidy and tend to things. People were well-behaved and orderly.
The town of Hudson is really nice and clean with great restaurant selections and great bike trails. One thing we’ve figured out after 3 years and 300 nights of camping... KOAs have standards which are most often met.

First the good stuff: Friendly KOA-uniformed staff upon check-in, appealing entrance driveway to office registration. Updated sewer connection as well as electric. Quiet at night. The not so good stuff: gate entry pad installed way too low making it very difficult to enter code in a ‘regular’ car let alone a truck or motorhome; very (underline ‘very’) narrow unpaved, uneven roads leading to our site (or any other sites); extremely uneven sites making it quite the task to level; we had a long pull through but very narrow in width forcing us to step on muddy wet grass. We’ve experienced some of these at other campgrounds— but was hurts is the $57/night (with my KOA member 10%)... way off the chart. Connection w/Verizon was ok including the streaming power.

Average campground. Mixed emotions about it.

There was a lot of conflicting information in the paperwork handed out when we checked in and what actually happened. Examples:
- Pool hours listed as 9AM - 8PM on paperwork, but sign at pool had varied hours
- Garbage pick up listed as 8AM - 8PM, but they didn’t come around to pick up in the evening several times. Because of this, raccoons got into the bags of trash people left for pick up. (Only dumpster located all the way at front of park, outside the gates).
- Check in/out times. Check out on paperwork listed as 11AM, but received a text from the KOA stating check out is noon.

In addition to this conflicting information, several of the sites were on grass (water/electric sites) and very muddy. Looked like it was a perpetual issue as there were several deep ruts in all of the grass sites. Our full hookup site was gravel and was level.

Several seasonal / long term residents.

Staff was friendly. Pool was clean. Offered fire wood and ice delivery to sites. Good location to see Cuyahoga Valley National Park as it’s fairly centrally located. Park was quiet.

$67 for a Saturday night with a KOA rewards discount is too much for a muddy site across from a pen they called a “dog park”. We were just passing through and there were few choices in this area of NE Ohio; we would travel on rather than stay here again.

Although WiFi is advertised it is virtually nonexistent. WiFi access was one reason we booked this spot; for the cost, we expected service. The campground also appears to be seriously understaffed and most staff members were teenagers who were inefficient and inexperienced - check-in was slow.

Only positive was that it was quiet.

Stayed here in early/mid September. Arrived on a Saturday and the park was busy. They were wrapping up activities like a car show and wood cutting demonstration.

Staff (mostly younger kids on weekend, older staff on weekdays) was very friendly. The park has clear and reasonable rules to ensure everyone enjoys their stay, but I never felt like we were being overly watched like elementary school children during the stay.

Our spot was generally level (gravel). I had observed some of the other reviews with complaints about I level spots. Unless you’re paying for a pad, I fee you have to expect to use some leveling skills when camping.

Sites in our area were close. You’re camp side is going to be right up against your neighbors hookups. It wasn’t so close that we didn’t enjoy ourselves. We felt we had plenty of room on all sides.

The owners care, and it shows. The grounds were well kept, the bath/shower houses were clean and seemingly recently updated. The park seemed to have a large number of seasonal sites, but they were all well kept.

We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this KOA to anyone who passes through.

We stayed here for two weeks while visiting Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the vicinity. The entrance road into the campground will lead you straight to the office, which will be on your left. Make sure you park at the stop sign while checking in so there's enough space for the other campers to pass you on the left and enter through the gate, which is activated by pass code.

With the exception of four small back-in sites near the office, all of the sites for short-term stays are on the right/east side of the campground. There are two short rows of pull-through sites; the rest are back-ins. All of the sites have gravel pads and grass lawns, connected by gravel roads. Most of the sites have at least one tree, but only a few are heavily shaded. Our site (611) was fairly level, though we did put a board under the camper tires on the driver's side, and we weren't the only campers to do that. Each site comes with a fire ring and picnic table; the three deluxe patio sites also have a gas grill. The hookups were in a reasonable location.

The campground has the typical KOA amenities. The office has the typical convenience/souvenir store but also has an ice cream counter. The propane refill tank is near the store, and it looked like they also provide 20lbs propane tank exchanges. There are two playground areas: the one across from the swimming pool also has a sand pit (a large sandbox without the box) and a basketball hoop, while the one at the back of the campground has a swing set, a tetherball court, and a grassy area for freestyle play. There are also three pavilions and two bathhouses with single occupant bathrooms with showers.

There are two dog runs. The smaller one has a white, narrow-rail fence with a single gate attached to the bathhouse near the entrance gate. The larger one is at the back of the campground with a chain link fence with an airlock gate, but is not lit at night. There are also plenty of grassy areas around the lakes and the outskirts of the campground for walking dogs.

In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 10 Mbps down and 14 up. There were one or two evenings where the network was saturated, making video streaming impractical, but the rest of the time it was okay. The best speed test I ran on my 5G AT&T smartphone showed 65 Mbps down and 6 up. The one test I did of the campground WiFi showed 2 Mbps down and 1.3 Mbps up.

Being at the back of the campground, we did hear some road noise from I-80, and the occasional train, but otherwise it was fairly quiet.

Be aware that they do not generally allow you to have packages or mail delivered to the campground, but it sounded like they could make an exception under certain circumstances, like for essential mail-order prescription refills.

We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Typical nice KOA. Conveniently located for visiting the national park and Cleveland. Camp store is nice, people were great. Our site (201) was really un-level where the RV was and dropped about 18” to where the picnic table sat. This meant there was a huge step out of the camper and we couldn’t have the picnic table fully under the awning. These are things that can be worked around but the sewer hookup being a good 12” higher than the outlet on our RV was a show stopper. I was able to drain the grey tank using the snake method, but I wasn’t willing to risk it with the black tank. We ended up dumping tanks at the dump station out last day. Overall I would stay here again, I would just look closer at my site before unhooking.

Streetsboro/Cleveland KOA is a cut above many KOA’s we’ve seen. The spaces have adequate separation and there are many mature trees throughout the campground to provide shade. The park facilities are clean and well maintained. While there is a large “seasonal” camping area (long-term residents), even those were quite tidy and well kept.

Many of the sites are FHU pull-throughs, although there are also back-in and more primitive sites as well as rental cabins. Sites and roads are packed gravel with grassy areas between. This is a large park so the amount of shade and separation can vary, but I didn’t see any spaces where you were packed in like sardines.

The staff were, without fail, exceptionally friendly and helpful. They guide you to your site, you can put out garbage and recycles to be picked up at your site twice daily. In addition to the usual, the camp store has homemade fudge and hand-dipped ice cream – Yummmm! The laundry facilities were spotless. I loved the antiques decorating the store too.

The park has several amenities that would be especially fun for families. There is a swimming pool and lakes for fishing (catch and release only, no license required), playgrounds and outdoor games. Several large covered picnic pavilions also make it a great spot for group gatherings.

We were here over Labor Day weekend (in fact they accommodated us a day early when we couldn’t find a place to stay enroute on Friday), so the campground was very full. Even so, we saw no rowdy groups and it was remarkably quiet after dark.

As a plus, you are close to several small towns with shopping. Don’t miss the Hudson Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning. The Costco in Boston Heights had diesel fuel that was far cheaper than anywhere else.

We had 2 bars of Verizon 4G. The park Wi-Fi worked well until around 7pm when the park was full and then is just died. After the holiday weekend, it worked great without any disruption.
