The Grande Mere Inn has been owned and operated by the Racine family since 1980. Pete and Nancy Racine have been in the restaurant business since the 1960s, and their son, Charley, joined the family business in the 1990s. The Racine’s goal is to offer a great place to dine and relax after a day at work or a day visiting the wineries, sand dunes, antique shops, golf courses, fruit orchards, and beaches of southwest Michigan.
