“nestled between the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountain ranges”
Nestled between the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountain ranges in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, this former walnut plantation is anything but a cookie-cutter RV campground. There are a wide range of sites. from shady hilltop to the edge of a two-acre fishing pond to streamside in the walnut grove itself. . Visit historic Staunton. Nearby attractions include: Blackfriars Playhouse at the American Shakespeare Center, Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library & Museum, Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park.
Campground has a very nice pond and playground. However, there are steep hills and the roads are poorly maintained.
The place it beautiful and peaceful. The campground is one of the cleanest I have seen. The owner was so kind and great to talk to. He brought us firewood after hours. Very sweet man.
