“boutique retreat & wellness center”
Founded in 2012 by Sherry and Stu Kahn, Old Stone Farm is a wellness and education center dedicated to social awakening through personal transformation. Located on a magnificent, 236 acre horse farm in the heart of New York’s Dutchess County, our ‘field of dreams’ is a sanctuary for spiritual development, deep education, entrepreneurship, and global change in an atmosphere of open heartedness and natural beauty. Sherry has restored the 200-year-old farm with impeccable care, preserving its authentic 18th and 19th century historical buildings, hand choosing the antique furnishings and art, maintaining as much of Old Stone Farm’s history as possible (while powering with environmentally sustainable solar and geothermal energy). Our luxury accommodations include ten guest rooms, library, yoga barn, pavilion, horse barn, indoor and outdoor riding rings, as well as a full-service spa including massage and wet rooms and steam cabinets. Our chef Matt’s delicious, organic, gourmet cuisine(tailored to our guests’ personal needs) uses locally grown products artfully presented with elegant simplicity for fine dining at its best. Surrounded by hundreds of secluded acres of gardens, old cedar and maple groves, woods, swimming ponds, hills, valleys, hiking/riding trails, and pastures, the farm offers our invited guests the unique opportunity to spend time with our horses, who are the heart and soul of our enterprise. Stu Kahn, a successful businessman who passed in 2012, dreamed of combining this wisdom with what he called “conscious capitalism,” making Old Stone Farm a world-class meeting place for ‘influentials’ and invited guests dedicating to fostering positive social change through personal awakening and fellowship with peers. Combined with Sherry’s lifelong passion for energy healing, yoga, physical wellness, and the intuitive arts, Stu’s essential vision has formed the backbone of Old Stone Farm’s mission and the healing experience we offer our guests.
