Stay at a site closer to the main road if it’s been raining. Great campground with easy water access, marina, and playgrounds.

This campground has lots of sites that are close together. It was very wet and areas off pavement were very swampy. Site 207 has very little to recommend it. It is short in length and not level.
The park is very popular with families with lots of scheduled activities.
All facilities were clean and functional.
We had 2 bars at 3G but could not get a data connection - voice calls did work.
We paid $32 camp fee plus a $8 reservation fee.

Well laid out campground with good rates and lakefront access. Pool looked nice but was closed due to COVID-19. There is a small swimming beach, but the shore was covered with dozens of dead fish and signs indicated that you should not allow your skin to touch the water. Gross. We have T Mobile and there was practically no service. The campground offers WiFi, but it was unusable. We might have stayed longer if there had been any kind of data access.

Well without the blue green algae in the lake this would be a very campground with a pool. They advise no contact with the lake so it was disappointing. However the campsites are paved with decent sized grassy campsites. We camped here in a 40 ft class A and had no issues.

This is a State Park? High volumes of algae prohibited swimming, but who would want to swim in a lake that smells and looks like straight sewer. Our site, and several around us, were swampy and not level. The dump station doesn’t have a water hose for a black tank flush. There was one place to fill fresh water when the majority of the sites are electric only. The only thing that made me decide to give this place 2 stars, was the decent space between sites. We won’t be back.

We stayed in our rooftop tent for one night at this park while our Airstream was being worked on at the factory service center. It was an unplanned stay and they had plenty of sites to choose from. We were told by locals it gets VERY busy on the weekends, but it was pretty quiet on the Tuesday night we stayed; although, there was a live band playing until 10:00pm, but it wasn’t overly loud, especially at our site in the back-9.
Access was extremely easy and would have still been so had we been towing our 30’ camper. The sites were pretty well laid out offering sufficient space between them to set up camp. There was no standing water during our stay and you could see new drainage had been recently installed. Some sites in the 200s have substantial dips, so could have standing water after a rain. Bathrooms and showers were pretty clean and spread out throughout the large campground. There’s a nice pool, “splash pad”, and playground with lots of things to do for the kiddos. Think KOA, but without being packed in like sardines or paying exorbitant rates.
Despite the previous reviews, we took a chance and are happy we did. It’s a nice campground that’s pretty well kept up. All sites appeared to have picnic tables and fire rings with cooking grates. There is some road noise, but not excessive and got very quiet at night. We would certainly stay here again if in the neighborhood.

Stayed On Site #169. Arrived on a Wednesday and left on Friday. Was MUCH busier on Friday leading into the weekend.(2nd week of August.)
Lots of activities for kids. The dog run was great!
Like others have mentioned, we too had to stay out of the water…. as well as our 2 dogs.
Very well run and CLEAN campgrounds.
We had a GREAT time and Hope to be back someday.
