“Camping, picnicking, swimming, and hiking trails in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley wine country”
Bothe-Napa Valley State Park has 2,000 acres and offers quiet and seclusion on the edge of the Napa Valley wine country. Visitors can follow hiking trails along a stream or climb to a vantage point on Coyote Peak at 1170′. Trails also lead to nearby Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park, as well as a grove of redwoods. The park does not have the typical redwood groves as found in coastal areas. Campground is referred to as Ritchey Creek Campground and/or Bothe Napa Valley State Park Campground
Stopped here after wine tasting, and walked up to Canyon Peak via Redwood Trail. Little bit further than we realized (took us about 2 hours round trip) but a fun hike. View is OK at the top.
