The Museum is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (with the exception of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and New Year's Day). We are located in the Courthouse area in the Merchant Square Building across from the Pavilion. Our 1800 sq, foot facility contains the Museum, which houses our County's history, beginning with early Native Americans and continuing on through the Civil War. It is also home to a research library that is open to the general public. Guided tours for groups are available upon request.
