Hopkins Ordinary was built around 1820 by John Hopkins, who opened a roadside inn and tavern that also served as a stagecoach stop. In those days, it was known as an Ordinary, serving the “ordinary” needs of the traveler.A delicious breakfast is served every morning and includes fresh-baked breads, home-made cheeses, and the freshest eggs, meat and produce grown and raised by our neighboring farms.
