“KOA RV resort in Bay Center WA”
Situated in a quiet, natural forest setting on picturesque Willapa Bay, this is just the place to leave your daily life behind - and enjoy the tidal bay! A scenic nature trail leads from the campground right to the beach, where you'll enjoy bird-watching and beachcombing. Swim in the tidal bay, rake for delicious steamer clams (license required) and work up an appetite for the area's famous Willapa Bay oysters. You're close to lighthouses and the Pacific. Play a game of ladder ball or cornhole. Mine for gems at our Mining Sluice or Jump your cares away on our jump pad. Enjoy ice cream socials and family activities every weekend (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Then finish your perfect day with a beautiful sunset over the bay. Max pull thru: 70 feet. Great campground
This is my family's absolute favorite KOA and quite possibly our favorite place to camp. The owners do an awesome job of making you feel at home here. Other campers are quiet and respectful. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is gorgeous and opens up to a private beach. You can easily collect seashells and when the tide is out you can look for oysters. On our visit we stayed in a yurt, it was lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in one again, super comfy. We have no complaints about this KOA, our stay was wonderful. We hope to visit again! --p.s. If you do stay here, take some time in the evening to star gaze. The sky here sparkles beautifully!
See prior review; forgot to rate with stars.
Well kept, quiet campground with lots of trees. Sites are well spaced and fairly level. Happy with our choice.
