Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 28, 2018As an Alaska resident, we're not overly enamored with RV parks in our home state. This one is an exception. We arrived just looking for a quick overnight to dump tanks, refill water, and groceries but we were very happy with our experience.
The park has two small loops. One has plenty of trees and foliage between the sites and the other loop has grass between the sites with no additional tree coverage. We ended up with a site in the forested section and loved the shade but be aware of the sap! Wifi coverage (included) was fast most of the time. Even though every site was full, I was pleasantly surprised at the low volume of noise in the park even during waking hours. There is some ambient noise from the nearby Soldotna airport, but for many this may even be an attraction. After 8 days in the wildlife refuge I was looking forward to some television, but only OTA is available.
The employees were friendly. About the time I told my son to go back to help me back the trailer, an employee was in my mirror helping with directions. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back when we need to overnight in the Kenai/Soldotna area.

For Soldotna in July, this price for full hook-ups cannot be beat. This campground should be FULL! Everything is in nice shape and the staff are EXTREMELY helpful. We stayed in the loop with fewer trees and loved getting the sun (it was a bit chilly during our stay). Great spot.

Al and his staff felt like family! This is the perfect place to stay and feel like a part of a RV neighborhood. The site, showers, and laundry are all very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the campground picnic gathering too! Great sense of community!

This is a very well run campground. The bathrooms and in particular the showers are some of the best we’ve seen in an RV park. Al, the manager is a great guy and gives excellent advice on both fishing equipment and places to try your luck. Based on his advice, I was able to get several sockeye salmon. Very nice spot

From the time of booking all the way through the time of check out the staff was very friendly and helpful. The RV Park was clean, quiet and well kept. We will definitely be staying here again. They allow dogs and even have a dog walk area. The only down part was that there was dog poo on the dog walk but this was only the fault of pet owners. The RV park even provides dog waste bags and they did go out and clean it up too. We had a great stay and will definitely be going back.

I stayed a month and was sad to leave! Everyone friendly, staff and owners accommodating. Need something? Ask. Need help backing into some sites? Just ask. Many sites are pull-thru.
Sites are nice size, level gravel, trees at some, grass, plants at others. Full hookups. There are several cabins also. Bathrooms and laundry VERY clean, look new.
Met the nicest people, including staff and owners. I stayed near the road, so there was traffic noise, but that doesn’t bother me.
Definitely would stay again!

The owner of the property found out. Our guys were going salmon fishing and showed them how to fix their rigs. While we were gone, someone ran into the table at our lot, knocking over our grill. The owner made sure to track the guy down and get his name and phone number in case there was any damage. He notified us as soon as we returned to camp. The campground was extremely clean. The bathroom and shower facilities were great along with the laundry facilities. Very well-maintained facilities.
