I know skiing in the Midwest isn't generally thought of as exciting, Snowshoe is actually really fun for anyone who isn't ready to hurl themselves down the side of a double black diamond. They have some nice windy trails in the woods with pretty good powder and it's a great place to get comfortable skiing. Would love to go back!
