Lake has a water slide! So relaxing. All the worker take pride here. Pool is clean. Grounds are kept beautiful. Only problem is there’s ants everywhere. It’s the sandy soil they like so much. 30 minutes to Mobile, 30 minutes to the Gulf and hour to Pensacola couldn’t pick a better spot. One of our new favorites!!

We visited right after Hurricane Sally; so the park was a bit tore up. Even so- the ground were clean, the staff friendly. We were here right before Halloween and there was a carnival type activity and it was really adorable! Trains, hay rides and concessions stands.

We were traveling through and needed a place to stay for the night. This was off the beaten path about 20 minutes but I’m glad we got to experience this cute little place. First, the lady who took our reservation (Linda) was extremely nice. She took the reservation and told me to pay the next day in case we didn’t make it that evening.
In the morning, we enjoyed a ride with the kids on the cute little train. The ride was free because we were staying there. The kids enjoyed the cute train and play areas. We also visited the water area. I’m not going to lie, swimming in a pond makes me cringe but the kids loved the water slide. There is also a little splash pad for smaller kids to enjoy. They have a nice little sandy area with picnic tables and umbrellas. Overall, this place has some age to it and not the most scenic spot but it fit our needs for the 12 hours we were there. Also, everyone was super friendly.

Called last minute to just get away for the weekend. This place is so cute. The train station was right by my site - decorated already for the holidays and just glittering with lights. Such a cute gingerbread feel to everything. The camp Hosts were super nice. It’s a very peaceful area.
It is a bit out of the way but good cell service. Only has 50amp so if you have a van like I do, you’ll need a converter.

Was nice with good people. Hot tub and pool is indoor. It’s not a quiet place very loud most of the time. Great to bring kids. Sights are level and clean. If you want to bike this is not the place. The street outside the campground is not bike safe!!!
