“The most haunted canyon in California”
Black Star Canyon is a remote mountain canyon in the Santa Ana Mountains, located in eastern Orange County, California. It is a watershed of the Santa Ana River. Black Star Canyon is a popular destination for mountain bikers due to its wild scenery and the fact that its main access road is closed to automobile traffic. Despite its cultured and diverse history and reputable environments, it has recently become a place filled with urban legends, disturbing events, and reported illegal events, causing hesitation and reluctance for many visitors. There are reports of paranormal activity stemming from an Indian massacre that occurred here in 1831. There are also many other urban legends surrounding this canyon. Some are not paranormal but involve things such as a homeless man who will chase you away with a gun, and cults that perform ceremonies here. Others say there is haunted farm equipment here, and a haunted school bus that was said to have been removed in 2012.
