“hancrafted specialty cheese for nearly 100 years”
Roelli Family Cheees Haus is located east of Shullsburg, Wisconsin on State Highway 11 and has a family tradition of making hancrafted specialty cheese for nearly 100 years. Adolph Roelli came to this area of Lafayette County Wisconsin from Switzerland in the 1920s. From that time, four generations of the Roelli family have been in the cheese business at this location, building on Adolph’s commitment to quality, service, and customer satisfaction. This long-standing commitment continues to be the cornerstone of our business. Roelli crafts award winning original cheeses such as Red Rock and Little Mountain. Roelli is also known for their original recipe favorite Dunbarton Blue as well as fresh cheddar curds, cellar aged cheddars, Cheshire inspired and Alpine style cheeses. The Roelli Cheese Store is more than a cheese store; we’re a country crossroads general store offering: grocery items, beverages, ice cream cones and more. It is a great place to sample the varieties of cheese we offer. Stop by and select your favorite cheeses for a real taste of Wisconsin.
