“We are KOA"mazing"!”
The natural landscape of this KOA reflects the beautiful geography of the area. This shady, peaceful campground is nestled among cedars, oaks and pines at an elevation of 3,900 feet. Nearby Lassen Volcanic National Park, McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park and Lake Shasta are among the numerous opportunities for sightseeing, hiking, stargazing and photography. Spend the day fishing at Hat Creek or just relax around the campground. Swim in our heated pool, play basketball, beach volleyball, tether ball, or swing on the cool tree swing. Don't miss our new birding area. This campground offers spacious RV sites, featuring back-in and full-hookup Pull-Though sites up to 65 feet. Our deluxe patio sites include a BBQ grill, patio table and chairs. Deluxe Cabins have full kitchen and bath, A/C and heat. Linen is provided for the main bed. Camping Cabins offer A/C and heat and are located near the restrooms. Linens or sleeping bags are available for a rental fee at all cabins upon request. Tent sites are available with or without electricity. All sites have fire pits and picnic tables. Even your dog will enjoy our large K-9 dog area with its obstacle course. Every camper is treated like family. Come and stay awhile. Your hosts: Aaron, Jenel and our friendly and helpful staff
Campground very well maintained and staff are friendly. Wi-Fi is poor if your campground far from office and same with ATT mobile networks.
Beautiful park! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff! There is plenty to do in Kamp for kids and family plus it is close enough to areas sites for day trips like Lassen, Subway Cave, Hat Creek etc. We would definitely stay there for any length of time anytime we are in the area!
Staff were very nice and helpful. Had arrived at 10:30 a.m. (checkin is 3:00) - traveling on the start of Memorial Day weekend and thought traffic would be much worse and there was supposed to be construction delays. They welcomed me and let me check-in and go to site early.
Love the woodsy setting and the place if very clean. Lots of amenities as well as family oriented activities. Cable and wifi - wifi slow/weak. Would definitely stay here again - even make it a destination.
