For your complete privacy and enjoyment our four largest rooms have separate private outside entrances. All our rooms have private baths, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and cable TV with DVD. A guest computer is available for your use in the common area. Each room is furnished in antiques and reproductions. Comfortable beds with soft sateen sheets are complete with down comforters to snuggle in. Our Generals Quarters is a romantic cottage blending an 1830's Summer Kitchen with modern construction built in the style of early America. Featuring cathedral ceilings, a pencil post queen bed and a full size fold out air dream bed. It includes a large tiled bath with tub and shower, and private porch overlooking the gardens. cable, 32" LCD TV, DVD, WiFi, mini-fridge. Room rate is $178 single, $206 double, there is a $28.00 charge for each extra guest. Maximum occupancy is four. Our main building with four guest rooms dates from 1804. The Antietam Room, the largest room in the main building, features a queen sized poster bed, a private bath with a tub and shower, private entrance, large porch, cable, 32" LCD TV, DVD, WiFi. This room can be adjoined with the Clara Barton Suite for a larger group. Room rate is $164 single, $192 double. The spacious Thomas Jackson Room, on the ground floor has a queen size cannon ball bed, a private bath, cable, LCD TV, DVD, WiFi, private porch and separate entrance. Room rate is $152 single, $180 double. The Harpers Ferry Suite, has a private bath, cable, LCD TV, DVD, WiFi, private porch and separate entrance. A sitting area has a fold-out bed with another double and twin bed in the bedroom portion. Room rate is $152 single, $180 double, maximum occupancy is three adults. New for 2012 our Clara Barton room has been expanded into an adjoining vacant room to create the Clara Barton Suite. The large sitting area with a couch and wing back chair has a collection of medical artifacts and books from the civil war era. The private bath has an antique clawfoot tub with shower. The large sleeping room features a queen poster bed with memory foam mattress. This part of the house dates to 1832. Amenities include cable, LCD TV, DVD and Wi-Fi.  Rate is $130 single, $165 double. All rates include Joanne's bountiful multi-course gourmet breakfast, home baked cookies, complimentary sodas, teas and our home roasted coffee. Our full breakfast is served in our dining room each morning at 8:30, continental breakfast is available for guests wishing to eat at another time. Enjoy early coffee service starting at 7 a.m. with the morning Washington Post in our parlor. We will make every effort to accommodate special dietary needs if you let us know when making your reservation. Vegetarian and vegan specialties available.
