This had to been the worst experience I ever had shopping in my entire life. First, I would like to say that many years ago I had work at Home Depot, so I know how important custom service is and to greet customers. I was riding with my friend and he needed to pull off the freeway for gas in the small town of Seligman. I have always liked small towns and look forward to browsing in their quaint shops. My friend decided to stop in front of the General Store and as he was getting gas I walked inside to buy some chips. There was only me and this woman in the store and she started to follow me around like I might be trying to steal something and not the warm friendly greeting you normally get when walking into a small-town store. I found the bag of chips that I wanted and to my surprise as I placed the bag on the counter she said in an arrogant and rude voice, “Is that all your going to buy in this store.” To add insult to injury as she was giving me back my 6 cents in change she dropped one penny in the small dish next to the cash register then dropped the nickel in my hand. I really could not believe they would promote such rudeness in this store. That is why they should put a sign in front of that General Store which reads, “Customers Not Welcomed.” I DO NOT recommend going to this General Store unless you like to be rudely treated, just pass it by.
Despite the previous review I assure you either they were completely wrong or this place has really made a change! As a group of ladies, we walked in and the person manning the register was such a sweet lady named Shannon! Very friendly and helpful. Ended up buying snacks and postcards to send home to family. Great Stop especially considering everything else seemed to be closed- likely covid.
Great friendly owners. Many different sites. Inexpensive They gave us a tent site for one night at $15, their 30a sites were $25 and also had 50a sites too.

We were on our way home from our vacation- we stayed 1 night. The site was wide enough for us to pull the slide out and park the Jeep parallel to the RV. Small and Quaint and Quite. Would stay there again

Pulled off the interstate for a night of rest. Sites were level and nice enough, full-hookups, pleasant front desk person. No problems here other than our sewer hose partly freezing (we stayed over the winter), but that's our fault. It was quiet as well since it is off of the interstate right off of Route 66 and behind the general store.

The campground is not bad, but the majority of RV’s parked here are extremely run down and look to be more permanent tenants. I awoke at 3am to people having a party in one of the RV’s-it went on until about 5:30am. They were coming in and out of the RV, yelling, cussing, someone laughing a creepy drug-high laugh. I did not feel safe here with my children. I would not stay here again.

Pulled in late at night past closing. Found a free spot and went to bed.
No one bothered us and they seemed pleased that I came in to pay the next morning.
Didn't hear any commotion or see any shady activity.
There are some run down trailers here but the park itself is level well maintained and easy to get into.

I had decided to stay the night so i could look over the town, the historic hiway an contribute to the community. They were reciently reeling from the effects from either a rain or melting snow, i was driving a very heavy class A and towing my pick up behind me on a dolly and i had to drive thru a large mud puddle to get to my site. The other guests were of a working class within the area, which was not horrible, just what appeared to be shift workers somewhere in the area, they were quiet, and there sites were used but not shabby. However when i registered there was no mention of any wifi or guest amenities, (im kinda new to KOA system) The only bit of discomfort was from what appeared to be locals there doing there laundry parked in there cars on the property... i almost left cause it “felt” that uncomfortable, once they left it was wonderfull. The sky was beautifull at night seeing the stars, it was as if you could touch them! Due to the time of year they recommended not leaving the water hose connected due to frezzing over night, Yes the trains are regular and the sound quickly became a comfortable rumble in the night, there sounds were not loud.

They don't offer showers any longer. The bathrooms are cleaned but aged. The wifi was fine for simple things like checking email but otherwise pretty slow. Our spot had it's own 30amp tower, water and sewer dump, so that was nice. We parked on level gravel. Easy to park a 30ft motorhome in a pull through spot. There is no spot in the 'park' that has a nice view. There are 5 'permanent' looking tenant rigs...some quite decrepit, but there was no sense of anything being off or unsafe. I felt fine walking my dogs on my own. The folks who run the general store are kind and helpful, and despite Seligman being on two railway lines with near constant trains running, it was pretty quiet...there was more noise from what I assume were locals arriving in their vehicles to visit the tenants.
***To reach seligman, we drove east on I-40 as we were in a hurry to get to the campground before dark, and that was a HUGE MISTAKE. I-40 is a NIGHTMARE, with lots of potholes and other horrible surface problems. Take R66 from Kingman, and avoid I40 at all costs!!!***
