Confirmed by 9 users | Last reported on September 04, 2023Nice location but as others have said, they are ridiculous about their rules. So much so that it takes away from the experience. As an example, the site number signs read “Site 68 - Do not remove bend or break, if you break it you bought it”. Are you kidding me! $65/night and they’re going to threaten me about breaking a stupid sign! Ridiculous
Gorgeous location and landscaping. Concrete pad with picnic tables. Dog area. Very close to downtown Sedona and 20 minutes to Red Rock Crossing. Thoroughly enjoyed spot 63! RV on the left and grass on the right, ask for it, quiet and beautiful!
The best thing about Rancho Sedona RV Park is its location, it really can’t be beat if you want to walk into Sedona to shop, eat, drink or whatever. And, although the park is clean and well maintained, the is absolutely zero ambiance. The sites are close together making even putting out chairs to hang out in the evening undesirable. The biggest issue with this park are signs, everywhere, telling you what you CAN’T do. NO PARKING/NO STANDING signs are EVERYWHERE. There’s NO wood fires or NO propane fires allowed. At the dog area there was a NO BARKING sign. There’s a 2 page manual upon arrival of all the restrictions. I totally understand wanting to enforce rules and create a nice quiet and serene experience, but the signs just suck all the joy out of doing anything here, even taking an evening stroll you’ll be just inundated with all the signs that say NO. The location is 5 star, but the signs make It a 2 star. Anyway, for a night or two this was okay, but if you want to stay any longer to enjoy Sedona, do some research and stay somewhere else.
Quiet park with lots of shade. There is only one building for showers (2 per gender) and toilets (2 stalls per gender) and so your site may be quite a walk to those facilities. The grounds are well kept and orderly. It’s about a half mile walk to several shops and restaurants.
The park was quiet, staff was friendly, spacious spots, level grounds and clean dog area. We would stay there again! T-Mobile worked perfect there. I’m not sure why people were so upset about the signs, I didn’t feel they were that bad. For people who don’t like rules, it’s best not to stay there. For someone like me who loves rules, it was perfect! The only funny thing I thought was weird was in the dog run it said no barking. It can be kind of hard to control your dog from barking if playing with another dog.
Good campground if you prefer cleanliness and amenities over privacy. Quiet and extremely well kept. The best/most private sites are booked months in advance. We got the last site available (57) and it had zero privacy. Very exposed and wouldn't recommend it unless you will be spending all your time away or inside. Very convenient location. Calls only for reservations. No online booking.
Love this place. Quiet, clean with lawn and trees
Rancho Sedona was really a wonderful place to stay for our month in Sedona. The sites are all very well maintained, the property is dog friendly, and the staff is all about customer service. We walked to the Tlaquepaque Village and upper Sedona many times, which is the reason we decided to stay here in the first place.
We camped in site 12, right next to the office and enjoyed having our own little lawn there, along with the concrete patio and picnic bench that all sites have. Our friends stayed at the hilltop site and that really has a great yard, as well as additional privacy and views.
There is a great little dog park and walking trail by the campground, which we walked our dog on every day. Even saw a herd of javelinas one morning!
Overall, we had a great experience at Rancho Sedona and would recommend it to anyone staying in Sedona.

We have stayed twice at the Rancho Sedona RV park. It is in an excellent location, next to Sedona and on Oak Creek. It is the only game in town within walking or biking distance of Sedona. Sites are well shaded and clean. Watching the egrets nesting in the park was fun. The park is very busy and due to its location appears to be full and booked well in advance. Planning and reservations months advance are necessary in high season. The rules make the park quiet and enjoyable for all non-partiers. The only negative is the two stall bathroom and two showers for each sex for a park of this size are insufficient. Sedona is a great getaway for hiking and biking and we will be back.

Beautiful park, intended to just be an overnight stop in July 2017 after playing at Slide Rock, but wish we had another night here. The creek was a perfect surprise - so clean, clear and secluded. Wonderful shaded site, incredibly maintained (watched a worker actually replace stone gravel in a site next to us where a dog had been sick). Would recommend, even though on the pricey side, worth it. Site 76 was near the creek - no site really has a view of the creek, so no need to be right on top of it.
