Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on March 16, 2022We fell in love with Sedona on the drive in. This campsite is a little rustic (no showers, primitive bathroom) but the location was fantastic and the weather perfect and the site itself more than sufficient for our large tent. The sold firewood onsite. Only wish we had more time there to enjoy. Sedona is amazing!
Open March to October
This was a perfect campsite for the flagstaff Sedona area. We stayed two nights on a Friday and Saturday. It was busy, so get there early! Vault toilets kept clean, firewood available, large sites, host very nice. Would definitely stay again!

We came in about 4 pm and we just had a spot. Host is super frendly, campground very clean and good maintained. Camping is direct near the road, but there was no noise. We would defenetly stay here again!

Convenient location to stay to hike near Sedona. Campground along the shaded Oak Creek canyon, so cooler than town. Clean site, but all sites are near road and close to neighbors - fortunately both were quiet at night.

We arrived in the middle of the night in a rainstorm, luckily we got a spot and bedded down for the night. Woke up to the most awe inspiring view of the mountains.
Pros: The View, newly upgraded fire pit, charcoal grill, benches and tent pads, everything was level and set up well, firewood and ICE available from host, campground is close enough to Sedona with a scenic drive and hiking galore!!
Cons: Accessibility is rough, no showers, vault toilets, no hand sanitizers in bathroom or counters or hooks (but bathroom was clean and well stocked), proximity to road kind of a bummer, but we didn’t feel it was too loud.
Tips: GO SLOW so you don’t miss the entrance. It is one way once you’re in the site. To the left are reserved sites, rightside are first come first serve. This campsite is located on a very windy road 89A. It is not convenient to pull off, make a u-turn or go back.SO GO SLOW DONT MISS YOUR TURN.

After four failed attempts to find a place to land for the night (two campgrounds not yet open for the season in mid-April and two dispersed sites that would not have been navigable in our low clearance van), we would have camped just about anywhere! Fortunately there were spots available here and we were greeted by a super friendly and welcoming camp host. Sites were all flat with tent pads; most had decent privacy between sites. All have fire rings, large picnic tables in good shape, grills, and lantern hooks. Vault toilets were clean. Artesian well that some reviews said the water quality was questionable; camp host says she drinks it but others do not. We filled up our water jugs and will give it a go. If it weren’t for the proximity to the road (89A) and the noise that goes with it (site 18 you might as well BE in the road!), I would have given this place 5 stars! For $11 (50% off with senior pass), this place was perfect for us!

Great campground for being in busy Sedona. Very crowded, don’t expect peace and quiet while being here. It is located next to the highway, and the occupancy is very high. With the all the noise it still is a nice campground overall. Especially due to the popularity of the area. Hiking is awesome. Especially since there is a trailhead at the campsite itself. Cook stove is a nice little hike and presents some nice challenges and amazing views.

Friendly host, easy check in! Great spot in the pines for visiting Sedona. Nice and quiet and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. Only a short drive to Slide Rock State Park. No cell service or hook ups.

There are no hook ups here, but there are nice level sites with asphalt surfaced parking. You can get good potable water. It is near the road as many have mentioned but its a two lane road without semis or honking cars. It was just white background noise. The hosts keep it very clean and you can get firewood and ice. It was very relaxing after a month of busy traveling. Good cell service, too.
