“chili, chili, and more chili!”
Mikes Chili Parlor has been serving world famous chili since 1922! Come by for lunch, dinner, after work, or for the big game and enjoy the authentic old school atmosphere, friendly staff and most of all… the chili! Featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and on United States of Bacon!
This place sucks. Their chili is garbage, their portions are small and overpriced, and the staff just don't give a shit about you. If you're thinking of getting chili and a beer here, just stop yourself and drive a little further down the street and grab a six pack from CVS before going through the Wendy's drive through. You'll spend way less and the chili is twice as good.
A lot of people who come to restaurants because they were on "Diners Drive-ins and Dives" forget that just because it was on TV doesn't make it any less of a dive. That being said, I'm not much of a chili eater (I prefer it made with cinnamon and served over spaghetti) but I do appreciate the divey vibes.
