After staying at the Thousand Trails site in Long Beach, WA, this site was much more family friendly aside from a couple of things. First thing that made this a huge improvement over Long Beach was the was a playground, pool and hot tub (hot tub was restricted to 6+yrs old). These ammenities were at Long Beach but the playground was only 4 swings (we named it Four Swing National Park), and the pool and hot tub were small and closed for the duration of our stay. The next big improvement was almost no mosquitos compared to Long Beach. We would definately stay here again.

Beautiful park in a great location. Lots of trees but still areas if you want satellite. WiFi is good also but in some areas there is a small charge. The park is divided into two areas across the road from each other. On one side is a small playground and laundry and showers. The other side has an indoor pool and other extras.

Sites are level gravel with lots of grass. We were near a corner so had plenty of room. Utilities are well placed also. One side is 30 amp only and other has 30/50.

Nice gravel and fenced dog park but they need a bench in it.

So much to do in Seaside, lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Beaches are great for clam digging and finding silver dollars and crabs.

Park is split in two halves: 50 amp sites on the north side, 30 on the south. Overall, sites were spacious. It’s the Oregon coast so, not much of a need to run ac even in high summer. We did just fine on a 30 amp. Tons of blackberrys and huckleberries on site, very fun to pick. Facilities all in decent condition. 5 min drive to the beach! No difficulty streaming with att.

What's not to love about Seaside and the surrounding area. So much to do and see. Thankful to have a nice Thousand Trails here. We stayed here as part of our Camping Pass.

The park is mostly grass and gravel. We stayed on the north side in the loop at the back. Mostly quiet with big sites, full hook ups and 50 amp service. The park is just minutes, walking distance even, from downtown, shopping, crabbing and the beach. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Pickleball games going on every weekday morning.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even accepting packages. Laundry wasn't great but it served the need well enough. We we're encouraged when suits from TT headquarters and other nearby parks showed up to inspect the place and talk to members.

Nothing much bad to say. Some of the sites in the north side are a bit snug and the Ranger told us they were experience voltage drops on the south side but we've heard that was fixed or soon will be. We'd definitely stay again.

We stayed in the south half since there were more open spaces. The site was long as with the fifth wheel set up, we could easily park the truck at either end. The recycle bins seemed to Ben always full and the jets in the spa didn’t seem to work but they have a nice, dry sauna. It rained for the first couple of days so we didn’t really explore Seaside much. We did go down to Cannon Beach a couple of times as they had more of what we were looking for.

We would definitely stay here again.

The gate staff is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the south area. The property has the basics including TV by antenna and good cell coverage with Verizon. The WIFi at laundry building did work well. The restrooms are in need of a renovation, however, we use our own so it wasn’t a big issue. Close to beach, movie theater, Safeway and town. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

Business first: Site 128, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all decent signals. Very nice park, decent sized site and utilities all working well. Pool and Spa working and look good. Noise is minimal and there is no railroad or major freeway for many, many miles in any direction.

When we set out on our trip to all 48 contiguous states, we said that we'd spend at least 6 to 8 months on the west coast because we just could not see climbing the mountains there and back as our truck go older (RAM 2500 hauling 15,000 lb 5th wheel). When the truck barely registered the climb over the mountains, we said "OK, we have family here, we can come back in a couple of years to visit Washington." Then we got to Seaside, OR and now we're thinking we'll spend the summer and fall in these two states. Perhaps making a third trip in four or five years.

This part of the country is beautiful and the parks are wonderful. We're having no problems staying connected to strong data signals (I still work full time) and working east coast hours on the west coast means I'm off work at 2pm and we're out and about for 5+ hours of daylight! And the sunsets!

We love the off-leash dog park on the island (well done, folks!). Right now they can't pump LP, but they told us the nearby Chevron sells it for less. The town is within walking and biking distance and there are bike rentals and a boardwalk along the beach.

One note, there's a sign that points down 12th Avenue saying campground in 1500'. Trust it. Just go down the street and continue until you find the campground. You'll probably want to go slow so it will seem much farther. Check-in is on the right and if you decide to go to the north side (across the street) the turn around is easy. They have well packed and surprisingly smooth gravel roads and some pavement.

One thing we noticed so far. Washington has an espresso shop every 600' in town and every 4.6 miles in the country side. Here in Oregon, they don't have that many outside of town. There are 20 coffee shops listed in a town of 6,700 and we'll probably hit most of them before we leave. They love their coffee in the NW!

We've already decided that if our children weren't on the east coast, we'd retire on the west coast... earthquakes, tsunamis, wildfires, and volcanoes be damned.

Update 12/27/19: So far this is our favorite spot on the west coast. While we have no big complaints about any of the TT parks we've visited so far, this is currently the the best run and best situated park we've visited. To date we've been to the following western TT parks: Newport, Monroe, Seaside, Lake Minden, San Francisco, and Morgan Hill.

This was an interesting Thousand Trails. We stay three nights from October 11th through 14th, 2019, at campsite 151, the stay was free due to our Thousand Trails membership. Our site had sewer, electricity, and water hook up. The sewer connection at the campsite was a nice plus. The site was level and easy to back in to.

The sites were the closest we've been to at a Thousand Trails, with no trees for privacy. What made the Seaside interesting was there wasn't much noise even though the sites were close to each other. The campground was at sea level and just outside of downtown Seaside. Our 28 ft travel trailer easily fit into our spot. Once we entering the campground, the campground roads are all gravel.

The weather in October was high overcast in the low 60's, the nights low 40s. This is a very quiet campground, activities we found at the campground to keep busy was a very nice indoor pool, indoor sauna, indoor spa and exercise room with treadmills. The campground has clean free showers, plenty of hot water and not more than a 5 minute walk from our campsite.

My wife and I enjoyed the campground, we took a trip north to Fort Stevens for the day, geocached and hiked around the fort. Seaside was a fun town, its grown a lot since my first visit there 20 years ago.

Sites weren’t bad but the upkeep was lacking. Weeds and tall grass surrounding hook-up areas. The park is large but there was only one laundromat with 6 washers, 2 were out of order. I did like that you could use coins or a card because the card readers tend to be a pain sometimes. We did enjoy the fire pit with benches around it and the volleyball net but the playground needed help and we had issues with a couple young boys peeing on the equipment and in the play area. Their parents were not with them!
There are more options in Seaside so we will most likely not stay here again.
