Nestled within the woods of Sea Pines, is a piece of forgotten island history of plantations and Civil War. Remnants of the old house remain that was constructed of material in the area. Fencing has now been erected to keep people out of the area due to the fragile state of the ruins. There is a small parking spot with bike racks along the road. A short walk up the hill and the house ruins are to the left with more ruins to the right. Kiosks are present that talks about the ruins and area. A pass is needed to enter Sea Pines.
