“One of the World's most romantic Inns”
Wickwood Inn is located in the quaint village of Saugatuck, Michigan. Our historic downtown has an abundance of distinctive boutiques, galleries, tasting rooms, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. Because our downtown is nestled perfectly along Lake Kalamazoo, you can stroll along the docks or take a cruise down the River. Blocks away from our Award Winning Oval Beach and its stunning Lake Michigan coastline, Wickwood Inn offers endless opportunities for activity and relaxation in every season. Come experience the difference of life at Wickwood Inn and you'll know why it has been rated "One of the World's most romantic Inns" by Travel and Leisure Magazine. Our 11-room Boutique Hotel has a wide variety of common areas in which you may mingle or escape. Whether it's the roaring fire in the living room, or the fresh flowers throughout the gardens, Wickwood Inn provides the perfect place to re-connect. We are open year round, and our well-appointed guest rooms and suites feature private baths, fine linens, towels and robes, original art, off-street parking, and free high-speed internet throughout. The New York Times said it well, "At Wickwood, life revolves around food and wine. It's the best place to stay in Saugatuck." Owner and Silver Palate Cookbook author, Julee Rosso, delights in the cheer and camaraderie that comes from sharing good food. Everyday guests indulge in Julee's distinctive Champagne Brunch, Wine & Hors d'oeuvres, and Scrumptious Sweets–all complimentary. Our passion is seeking out the finest local ingredients each season has to offer; we adore bringing people together over food and wine that’s seasoned with a generous dash of laughter.
I would highly recommend the Wickwood Inn! Where to start? First of all it is very charming and romantic. There are wonderful touches everywhere. We stayed in the beautiful Christie room and felt very pampered. (We were able to peek into a couple of unoccupied rooms and each room is as beautiful and unique as the next!) Loved the wonderful breakfasts served in the cozy dining room. And nightly cocktail hours w/ yummy nibbles were a treat. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend!
