“place of tranquility & contemplation”
Was once the home of the William Henry Wesley family, is now a place of tranquility and contemplation. Yet, nearly 100 years ago, a visit to Eden Gardens State Park would have vibrated with the whir of mechanical and human energy. Originally the site of a sawmill, it is now a gorgeous park that features guided tours of the Wesley House. Experience the elegance of Louis XVI furniture as well as other periods in the park's renovated two-story house; originally built in 1897. Come wander our formal ornamental gardens and enjoy camellias, azaleas, Heritage Roses, daylilies depending upon the season. Enjoy the reflection pond and the koi, take time to wander in the Hidden Garden and discover it's secrets! We have picnic areas as well, so come spend an hour or spend the day, you are welcome at Eden!
