you have to see it to believe it no amount of pictures could do a justice of how amazing this place is
You just have to see it to believe it! Absolutely amazing audio and visual experience for all ages. Show up early and look everywhere!
A wonderful combination of art, mystery, and fun. It's hard to explain without sounding crazy or ruining the whole thing. You just have to see it to believe it.
Meow Wolf is all over the place with so much going on but somehow hard to explain. It starts with a house but secret doors (fireplace, fridge and closet) lead to some trippy passageways and rooms. There are certain stones and elephant bones you can bang on that play music notes. A kitchen that looks like a black and white cartoon room. A small hallway made entirely of old TVs. A lot of sensory overload but before we knew it, we were in there for almost two hours. And make sure you look into the toilet in the upstairs bathroom.
Amazing experience. As others have said, it’s too bizarre to explain, but very worth the time. Loved it. Was one of the highlights of my road trip.
Coolest place to visit, hands down!!!! I am glad we did not spend as much time “gallery shopping” in downtown Santa Fe and spent about 4 hrs here.
For the young, this is THE place to play hide and seek ( and likely never be found for a long time). For the artsier ones, this is an impressive place that is equivalent to any contemporary art museum nationwide. For the young at heart, just watch your head and step, and be young again.
Every corner is a new discovery and we continue to discover new rooms and art after 4 hrs in. Super recommend this place.
There was also 2 food trucks outside that was super convenient!
Made a detour to SantaFa on our trip specifically to stop here based on a friends recommendation. Wow was it worth it! Incredible immersive experience filled w unexpected passages and hidden rooms. Even my teenager forgot to be grumpy, and was smiling and exploring. We were there nearly 2 hours and I’m not sure we found everything. There is also a deeper mystery solving experience for those who choose to participate, but plan on being there even longer. If you are in the area I’d definitely stop here.
I can't even explain how awesome this place was. We made a small detour on our roadtrip to Colorado last summer to this, and WOW was it worth it.
Interactive art museum is an understatement. We spent hours here, and honestly couldve spent the whole day. Meow wolf and the House of Eternal Return has a small cult following and the other two girls I went with are thinking about getting matching tattoos of their logo/symbol!
All in all, its an experience for all ages, with interactive (some musical!) sculptures and art pieces, surreal architecture, attached giftshop/bar and slightly creepy backstory/plot to the whole exhibit. Totally Instagramable as well!!
Such a fun place. It was crazy crowded the day we went, but the exhibits were fantastic. Highly recommend!
This is a stop you don’t want to miss! Awesome place!
