“Camping & RV in NM”
This is the perfect spot to slow down, read a book, sit by the campfire, toast a marshmallow (or two) and just relax. It is also the perfect spot to be adventurous and explore all that Santa Fe and the surrounding areas have to offer. Our campground is so much more than just an overnight stay. Let this KOA be your home base as you visit the Santa Fe Plaza, San Miguel Mission, Palace of the Governors and Loretto Chapel. Check out Canyon Road, where you'll find many shops, galleries and restaurants. Summer is filled with weekend festivals to enjoy. The local cuisine is spicy and flavorful - you won't want to miss it! What will tomorrow bring? A drive to the Rio Grande Gorge or a day touring Museum Hill? Whatever you decide, it will enrich your life. Max pull thru: 65 feet. Your hosts: Gerry and Clarissa Hodges

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on May 31, 2022We stayed at Santa Fe KOA one night as we were traveling through town. It is located just 8 min. From Santa Fe Plaza which is rich with local artist, plenty of shops & places to eat. We cannot say enough about the excellent customer service we were welcomed with. Upon arriving at the park it was clean & well organized, Shelby was very friendly & welcoming, she checked us in, Jerad escorted us to the dump station & then to our camp site. (Most RV sites have full hook ups just not our first site). Our reserved campsite was too narrow for our RV pop-out so Jerad quickly assisted with relocating us to a new site.
There was no cell service or internet but again we were quickly assisted with connecting us to the parks WiFi. We would highly recommend a stay here if coming to the area.
Shared services site. Close enough together that you can hand stuff back & forth between campers with slides out. Gravel sites. On old route 66. Mrs campground host easy enough to get along with, Mr campground host kind of crabby when questioned about hookups. Stayed in late April.

Family run KOA. Owner Phyllis was very pleasant at check in and provided lots of local hiking locations. This KOA does NOT provide AAA discounts. Wifi was marginal. Cable TV was snowy.
Our site was level and provided additional car parking-was considered the deluxe site. Picnic table and fire pit on site. No shade/full sun. Very quiet location with most services like gas, groceries 10 mins away.
Sites are gravel and level. Great safe overnight location in the Santa Fe area. Downtown only 20 mi. away. No cell service for Verizon. Clean and modern showers and restrooms-although they do close them from 11-1pm. Laundry 24hrs.

Level site with full hookups. Met great people and close to Santa Fe. Stars were beautiful! Expensive but had everything besides a pool.

We stayed one night here in an upgraded site with concrete patio and furniture. It was very nice and level. The park has a lovely patio and Wi-Fi hot spot outside the office complete with large outdoor kitchen. There are multiple playgrounds with lots of games for kids. They also have a large game room and fenced dog park. Everything was spotless and the pride of ownership shows. The owners and staff were very friendly. The sites have decent spacing between them, and while the park was full, it didn’t seem crowded. It is about 20 minutes from the main sites in Santa Fe.

Like many Santa Fe parks this KOA it’s a dusty gravel parking lot with few trees. You are pretty close to your neighbors.
The common bathrooms are decent.a bit dated but clean. There’s a game room and playground. Small fences do area.
The best thing about this park is proximity to Santa Fe which of course is a great town! And we enjoyed visiting the tiny national park of Pecos.
There is ZERO Verizon cell service so we relied on WiFi and WiFi calling to work while we were staying here.
Like most KOAs the staff is pretty strict about the ‘rules’.

I start with 5 stars and find reasons to deduct. Found no reason. Well kept grounds including facilities. Sites were well spaced with small cypress trees separating the sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great Park!

Pricey for what you get. Loud music. Barking dog (neighbor’s dog outside of rv park). Tight spots. Neighbor’s slide out was literally 2’ away from ours. We like Santa Fe but won’t be staying here next time.

We stayed here to visit Pecos National Park. Nice welcome. Price reflects KOA discount. Site C4 was a nice surprise. Long, easy to level, trees on both sides. A good size dog park near by.. The picnic table and grill for the driver's side neighbor were very close. One night neighborhood dogs barked all night.

The bathrooms and showers were clean and the staff is friendly.
I’d say the place is ok but nothing worth raving about. We were here during a heat wave. Our site was a little exposed and most of the sites are pretty close together. Shade is pretty scarce. The picnic table was rundown. We didn’t spend much time at the campground so it worked for our visit.
