It is a beautiful stop and an awesome picture opportunity. There is even a rest area across the street with some vendors, restrooms and pavilions you can stop to eat lunch at. The rest area also has an amazing view where you can see the entire side of the bridge. Take a walk along the bridge and enjoy the view of the mountains and surrounding scenery. It was very peaceful.

The bridge and view were a great experiences. The trail from the rest area to the bridge to walk across was rocky so be prepared for that. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is not room for RV or Camper trailers to park. We parked in a dirt lot across from the entrance to the rest area. There was an ice cream bus parked there and we got a lemonade slush so we ended up inspired and refreshed. (Note: after crossing the bridge there was some space off to the right for a couple of RV/ trailers to pull over.)

Great stop if you are going to be close by. The bride and gorge are beautiful and breathtaking. You can park on either side and walk across with several spots to take photos and look down. The rest stop side is where you can get a good view of the whole bridge and many people were crossing the No Trespassing sign to venture out further.

Had to see. It's the bridge the guys from Wild Hogs (the moive) rode across.

If you are visiting Taos, go and visit the bridge. It is a short drive. The area is great for photos, a walk and using the restrooms. The restrooms are minimal, but clean.

The bridge is spectacular and an engineering wonder. We were able to park along side the road and walk out onto the bridge. Traffic on the bridge was slow enabling us to focus on the view, not the traffic. The bridge is over 500 ft. above the river offering a fabulous view of the geological rock formations.
